More Visuals for Closed Positions & Portfolio Dividends

M

After the recent release of new visuals for portfolio dividends, there have been more requests regarding visuals’ representations.

They include the following:

1) Consistent Color: Previously, the same sector would be represented by different colors across different pie charts on the same page. I have since fixed that. Now, the same sector would be represented by the same color on the same page.

2) By Month Segmentation: Now, you can also segment by month. This will help you quickly visualize which are the months that most dividends are coming in. Perhaps, when you are undecided between two equally good dividend-paying stocks, you might want to choose the one that is paying dividends on months where you are not receiving much to balance your cash flow throughout the year.

3) Charts for Closed Positions: Charts are also available for closed positions so that you can visual and answer questions about your closed positions as well.

Do let me know how you are using them and how I can make them better for you.

Happy investing!
