On my recent trip back to Singapore, I met up with Alvin and Jon (both of them from
DrWealth) for breakfast. We had a good chat and agreed that there could be good synergy between StocksCafe and DrWealth and decided to try working together more closely going forward.
For those who do not know, DrWealth is a financial education provider. I attended
one of their online courses two years back and personally, I enjoyed the e-course and learned/refreshed many things then.
They regularly run a
2.5 hours introductory lesson as a free preview to their Factor-Based Investing Course. This course has good reviews (see
here) and the introductory lesson is free. Thus, if you have 2.5 hours to spare, why not take the chance and expand your knowledge?
Disclaimer: If you sign up for their paid Factor-Based Investing Course, StocksCafe will receive referral fees from DrWealth. As a form of thank you, you will in turn be granted Friend of StocksCafe status for seven years! Do note that you need to sign up
via this link though.
Happy learning and investing!
- how about for those of us who are currently already life members of DrWealth, and also subscribing to StocksCafe? Any incentives for us? ;)

I realized that I did not post any article for the whole of June. It is due to a combination of various reasons but the main reason was that I tried switching to a new caching system (i.e. Redis) for StocksCafe thinking that it is better. However, due to my lack of experience with it, it instead made StocksCafe unstable. Causing out of memory issues, displaying stale data, etc. These resulted in StocksCafe ...
Two Clicks to Any Page!
First of all, Gong Xi Fa Cai! As I am currently in Japan, I've got nowhere to go "bai nian". In combination with my wife not feeling so well, I've got on my hands an entire weekend to work on SGXcafe. One thing that is starting to irritate me is that as SGXcafe continues to add more features, I would have to make numerous clicks just to access a particular feature. This problem is amplified when I ...
Quick Features' Update: Multiple Portfolio in Emails, New Portfolio Profile Page, and more
I had some time this weekend and managed to finish up a few user requests, and would like to share them: 1) Individual Portfolio in Daily Market Update Emails Now you can opt to view the performance of each portfolio you own by simply going to this page and checking the "Individual Portfolio - Information about each portfolio you own" box. You will see the performance of your individual portfolios ...
