If you have been using StocksCafe for the last few days, you might have experienced extremely slow loading of some of the pages on desktop. I apologize for the poor experience. It is likely due to the auto-completion feature (suggesting stocks as you type) that is available on some pages such as
It is the combination of poor design of the auto-complete feature and the caching servers going down. Essentially, I was doing eager loading (i.e. load all possible stocks in anticipation). I have now switched to lazy loading (i.e. load matching stocks as you type). You can find the new welcome page here. 1) As you can see, there is still free space for more icons. Please suggest what other information you think would ...
Lost Last 3 Days of StocksCafe Forum
I am very sorry but as the title indicates, the last 3 days of data on StocksCafe Forum (forum.stocks.cafe) are lost. Please rest assured that this did not affect other StocksCafe systems and/or data at all as they are on independent servers. I am now glad that I spent the extra money to keep them separated. Why? When I was licensing data, the data provider insisted on selling me the information for APAC region as a package instead of just Singapore alone. Was it so that they could charge me a higher price? In any case, seeing as I have the information, I have been wanting to organize and share those data. Today, I am happy to share that you can now find information of stocks listed in APAC exchanges such as ...
