The company's specialized shipping unit owns semisubmersible ships, heavy-lift ships, roll-on/roll-off vessels, and vehicle carriers. Parent company COSCO owns a 50.13% stake in COSCO Shipping. At the end of December 2010, COSCO Shipping owned 77 ships with a total shipping capacity of 1.3173 million deadweight tons.
