Granite Broadcasting Corp is a television broadcasting company that owns and operates television stations throughout the United States. Its largest stations--in San Francisco and Detroit--are WB Network affiliates. The other stations are in smaller markets and affiliated with the Big networks. Granite, which went public in 1992, has annual sales of more than $100 million and assets of more than $500 million.
