Trust Bank Savings Account Tricks

How to redeem the $35 NTUC vouchers fully without spending a dollar? What you need to do is:

1) Download the Trust Bank app.

2) Use my referral code: P1T19VA9 if you don't already have one. This is to earn the S$10 Fairprice voucher.

3) Apply for the savings account and not the credit card. The application should be instantaneous using Singpass.

4) Those who already chose the credit card first will likely be stuck pending for three days, the work around to this is to delete the app and reinstall, choose to open the savings account first instead.

5) Once your Trust Bank Account is up, your virtual debit card will also be up.

6) Take note of your Trust fast transfer details and fast transfer $1 from your DBS(or any bank that has Trust bank as the recipient) to your Trust account.

7) Use your Trust debit card and link it to your Grabpay wallet once you see the $1 reflected in your Trust savings account.

8) The linkage of your debit card to Grab will trigger a $1 deduction on your debit card which will be refunded immediately.

9) You trigger a $1 "spending" on your Trust debit and this will qualify you to the $25 + $10 NTUC voucher which you can use in store or online.

10) The $1 should still be in your Trust savings acct.

The vouchers can be used by asking the cashier to scan the QR code when you make payment instore and its stackable.

Is the Trust savings account useful? To me no, because the interest of 1% for the first 50k is too low. The only reason to open a Trust account is to get the NTUC vouchers and maybe wait to see if they will buff their rates or credit card perks in the future. Own view.
