The fund invests in the public equity markets of Australia. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the real estate investment trusts (REITs). The fund invests in the stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P/ASX 200 A-REIT Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as streetTRACKS S&P/ASX 200 Listed Property Fund. SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Listed Property Fund was formed on January 24, 2002 and is domiciled in Australia.
