Description
Vanguard Canadian Short-Term Bond Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. It is co-managed by The Vanguard Group, Inc. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. It invests in fixed-rate, Canadian dollar denominated securities including government, government-related and corporate bonds having maturity between one and five years. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as at least BBB- by S&P and Fitch and at least Baa3 by Moody's. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg Barclays Global Aggregate Canadian Government/Credit 1-5 Year Float Adjusted Bond Index, by employing representative sampling technique. Vanguard Canadian Short-Term Bond Index ETF was formed on November 4, 2011 and is domiciled in Canada.
