The fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of its net assets in fixed income securities. It typically invests at least 80% of its assets in fixed income securities rated investment grade by a nationally recognized statistical rating organization ("NRSRO") (such securities rated BBB- and Baa3 or higher) or, if unrated, determined by the NYL Investors LLC (the "Subadvisor") to be of comparable quality.
